Quote validity
The window during which a private-transfer fixed quote remains binding before it needs to be requoted.
Quote validity is the time window during which a Driver’s fixed quote stays binding. On Luxi the default is 7 days from issue. If you confirm and pay within that window, the quoted price is locked. Outside the window, the quote expires automatically and the system requotes — usually at the same price, occasionally a few euros different because of seasonal or fuel-cost changes.
Quote validity is shortened to 24 hours when the requested pickup is within 7 days, because last-minute slot availability changes rapidly. Validity does not extend across major-holiday cutoffs (Easter, August 15, Christmas) regardless of the 7-day default.
