Why cruise passengers book Luxi over ship excursions

  • Smaller group, faster pace. A private car or van moves through a site like Knossos or Olympia in half the time of a tour bus group of 40.
  • Better-priced lunch. Local taverna instead of the cruise-line catered buffet at €45/head.
  • Itinerary flexibility. Skip Knossos if you’re cave-fatigued, add a beach stop instead. Ship excursions cannot do this.
  • The all-aboard discipline. Our drivers know your ship’s all-aboard time and build a 90-minute buffer into the return. If you miss the boat with Luxi, the driver helps you reach the next port at our cost (it has never happened).
