Private transfer
A pre-booked, point-to-point road journey in a vehicle reserved exclusively for your party at a fixed quoted price.
A private transfer is a chauffeured road journey, pre-arranged for a specific date, time, route and group, at an agreed price. Unlike a shuttle or a taxi rank, the vehicle is reserved exclusively for you and the people travelling with you — no co-passengers, no detours to drop other riders.
In Greece, private transfers operate under a different licence category from metered taxis (commonly EC2 / VIP / limousine licences). The defining characteristics are pre-booking, fixed pricing, and flexible routing (multi-stop, day-trip and hourly hire are all possible).
Use cases: airport pickups, long-distance city-to-city travel, day-trip touring with stops, late-night arrivals where taxi queues are unbearable, and group travel where per-head economics beat public transport.
